...we had a photo shoot with a photographer we hired... I was hoping that the rain would hold off and it did... although it was pretty cloudy and getting dark out, I think that there will be a lot of great pictures... I am sick of going to Target or JC Penney to get pictures taken and wanted to do something different... We met the photographer at a park near our home and let Ethan run WILD!!! The last time I took him to a studio, it was a nightmare... he did not sit still and was practically tearing the place apart!!! He did so much better in his own comfort zone... I can't wait to see the pictures!!! Our photographer, Michelle, is going to give us a disc with the pictures and the rights to print them wherever we want... No pressure to pick which poses and which sizes on the spot like at a studio... I highly recommend anyone with a toddler to do this!!!
we were up north this past tuesday thru friday with g-ma and g-pa raap and lauren... scott, myself, lauren and ethan went to noah's ark on wednesday and had a good time! well, lauren and I had a great time, but scott spent the day chasing a crabby toddler around a huge water park... NOT fun... i can't believe that i still have the guts to go on those gigantic water slides!!! all of us, even ethan, went on a ride together called congo bongo... ethan loved it!!! the rest of the vacation we stayed around the cabin and rode the atv... ethan LOVES to ride!!! 
I have been wanting to go to the farmer's market downtown in Zeidler Union Square since they opened and yesterday the boys and I went and met up with Auntie Stacy, Auntie Mary, Lauren and her 2 friends from Spain... We had lunch and walked around to check it out... there was a band playing too!!! I got a pretty bouquet of fresh flowers for only $5, which would cost like $20 at the store!!! We brought home dinner - chicken and pork tamales and chips & salsa... Yummy!!!
