Great Grandpa...

It has been 1 year since Great Grandpa has been gone... We miss him so much!!! We have so many fond memories of him and we can't wait to see him again!!! We love you Grandpa!!!

Today we got together with Kara, Mason and Caden. Auntie Stacy too! Caleb stayed with G-ma and G-pa Raap and Lauren came with me and Ethan to swim... It was a beautiful day out!!! Warm, but not hot like earlier in the week... We had a blast!!!

Rolling!!!

This morning Caleb was on the floor on his back and when I looked back at him, he was on his tummy!!! This is the first time he rolled from back to tummy!!! He has rolled from tummy to back before...I HAD to see it for myself and I spent a long time trying to get it on video!!! Finally, he did it again!!! Yea!!! He tries... and tries... but his arm always gets stuck!!!

I never thought I would be spending a birthday dinner at McDonald's!!! Last night we took Ethan to McDonald's to eat and to play in their playland... He had a blast!!! Shortly after running wild in the playland, he fell and busted his top lip open!!! Blood EVERYWHERE!!! Thank goodness there were no other kids there at the time!!! Later he slipped and fell backwards on the tile in the playland (unsafe) and almost cracked the back of his head open!!! What a birthday!!!

Ethan is 2!!!

Today is Ethan's 2nd birthday!!! I can not believe that!!! Scott had a half day today so we took Ethan out to breakfast this morning... this afternoon we went to see Dr. Amy today for his check up and found out that the blood work he had done last week came back... the results were NOT good!!! He is allergic to cashews and pistachios... not peanuts - thank goodness!!! Dr. Amy told us to stay away from all nuts though... We have to carry an epi pen and benedryl everywhere we go just in case he has something and reacts to it... I now have to read the labels and ingredients on all the food I buy... OMG!!! Oh well - I guess it could be worse... he could be allergic to peanuts too!!! Besides that bad news, everything is fine with him...

Yesterday we were at g-pa and g-ma Francis's house to swim and to celebrate Father's Day with them... It was hot out and the pool was nice and cool... a little too cool for me, but Ethan LOVED it!!! Caleb took a nap in his swing on the patio shaded by the umbrella...

Well, all the planning and shopping and preparing is all over for 1 more year... well, not quite, with a birthday again in January... Today was a great day for Ethan's 2nd birthday party!!! It was a bit hot, but it is summer, right??? He had a BLAST!!! I think we all did!!! Thank you so much for everyone who came and brought food... it really helped me out a ton!!! Also thanks for all of the great gifts Ethan got!!! (Ethan's real birthday is Wed the 24th...)

POOR ETHAN!!!

I took Ethan to Children's Hospital to have blood drawn to see if he has a nut allergy... the reason being is because about 1 month ago he had some cashews and a few hours later he broke out in hives!!! AHH!!! I am almost positive he is not allergic to peanuts because he eats peanut products, but other nuts, we are not sure... I am hoping and praying that the tests come back negative...

Caleb was a perfect angel at his check up today... until his shots... then he screamed bloody murder!!! He has already been eating rice cereal and LOVES it, and now we can move on to veggies and fruits!!! What a big boy!!!

Today the boys and I went to the zoo and met up with my friends Meggan and Josh and their 2 kids, Chloe and Caden... They live in Minnesota... I have not seen them for so long and it was so nice to hang out with them and all of the kids... We had a beautiful day too!!!

Ethan and Caleb took their 1st bath together last night!!! I was at work and missed all of the fun, but Ethan was really good!!! I thought he would be throwing toys and splashing a lot, but he loved having a buddy in the bath with him!!!

For Sale...

Today we officially have our condo up for sale... if anyone wants to help us sell this place on their work classified ads, let me know... we can use all the help we can get!!! We need a house with a big yard for the boys and Kait to play... also Caleb needs his own room... he is consistently sleeping through the night now and I would like him out of our room... I would like to find a house with at least 4 bedrooms, to have a room for the next baby... :):):) We really hope that a miracle happens and we can sell soon before Scott starts school in the fall... his last 2 semesters are going to be busy and stressful!!!

Last night we went to the Brewer game with gma and gpa Schutten... We spent most of the night walking around and letting Ethan play in the kid areas... Caleb loved just watching all the people!!! We had so much fun!!! This is what going to sporting events with kids will be like for many years to come!!!

Congratulations to Dawn, George and the kids on the birth of their new baby girl, Evalyn Joy, on Wednesday, June 3rd!!! She was 8 lbs. 4 0z. and 20 1/2 inches long!!! Mom and baby are doing great and are home... we can't wait to meet her!!!

we were up north this past wednesday thru friday with g-ma and g-pa raap... it was so much fun and the weather was BEAUTIFUL!!! it was nice to get away... ethan was the dirtiest i have EVER seen him!!! he had the best time of all of us i think!!!
