Tuesday night Ethan woke up just before midnight with a horrible, barking cough and trouble breathing. It was the scariest thing ever! Within minutes we were out the door on our way to Children's Hospital. By the time we got there, he was a bit better. He was diagnosed by the triage nurse with Croup. She knew right away when she saw and heard him. We were there for about 3 hours in the ER. He got a dose of oral steroids before we left to reduce the swelling in his throat. He is now doing very well. We were told it would last 5-7 days, but thankfully that night was the only night so far like that. It broke my heart to see him in that little gown!

SO... YES... we are expecting baby #3!!! Baby is due 10/11/11!!! I am in my 7th week right now and am feeling SO tired... I can't even believe how worn out I am!!! Even after sleeping a full 8 hours!!! I don't remember this as bad with Ethan and Caleb, but Scott says that I was just as tired... I guess that over time you tend to forget the bad things about being pregnant... I am hoping that this 1st trimester goes fast!!!

BLIZZARD OF 2011

Caleb had his 2 year check up yesterday... the appointment was in the afternoon and during his MUCH needed nap time... so needless to say, he wasn't his usual charming self for Dr. Amy... oh well... we made it through... 1 shot and a finger poke to check a lead level and we were outta there!!! no check up until 3!!!

height: 36 inches (60th percentile)

weight: 28.6 lbs (85th percentile)

On Monday we took a trip to the Country Springs Hotel water park... We had a wonderful time!!! Ethan is a REAL water bug!!! He went down the 2 BIG water slides with me a few times!!! and he went down the kid slide about 100 times!!! Caleb is not so fond of the water... he had fun, but got cold... It was a great day trip!!!
