Jillian spent the day with us yesterday... Ethan and Jillian had so much fun!!! They played so nice together!!! Caleb enjoyed watching all of the action too!!!

update

Well, I am feeling well-rested today because Caleb slept 10 hours last night!!! I couldn't believe it when Scott's alarm clock went off this morning and I realized that I hadn't gotten up at 4-4:30 to feed him!!! That has been his normal time to get up and eat... So he would sleep about 7 hours straight... I hope this is going to be his new thing, but it probable was a fluke... we'll see!!!

I couldn't believe my eyes!!!

Early this evening I was on the deck and heard a little "crying" noise in the bushes... I looked down and saw a tiny fawn in the brush!!! Then I saw it come out into the open and it was walking funny - it must have just been born!!! It was so cute!!! It was wobbling around the grassy areas and by the porches for a while!!! I brought Ethan out to see it - he loved it!!! It then disappeared into the brush again... It came back out a few minutes later and was still "crying"... I felt so bad for him/her!!! Then a little while later I saw a big deer, hopefully the mama, in the swampy area... I really hope that they were reunited!!! We have coyotes around here and that fawn would DEFINITELY be a nice dinner for a coyote!!! Here is a video of it...

rice cereal here we come!!!

Caleb had his first little bit of rice cereal last night!!! I figured it might be time now because he seems to be CONSTANTLY hungry and eats 6 oz. every 3 hours!!! He did pretty good for his first time... It didn't really help him in the sleep department though... I was hoping he would sleep longer because people say that it will fill him up and he will sleep all night - YEA RIGHT!!! Oh well... My little peanut is getting to be such a big boy now!!!

My niece, Alexa, also my Goddaughter, was confirmed on Sunday at St. Paul's Franklin... Congratulations to Alexa and we are so proud of her!!! The party was at Uncle Aaron's house after and was a blast!!! It was super hard to watch 2 kids by myself - of course I had my parents there and other family to help, but I could not have done it by myself... I have a new found respect for single parents...

Ethan loves when we put Caleb in his crib in the morning when he wakes up... He likes to cover Caleb with his blanket and he also gives Caleb his "Roary" (his little blue blankie with a lion head on it)...

Welcome Home, Daddy!!!

Scott and Ryan came home from Ashland yesterday... Ethan was so happy to see daddy!!! Scott had fun in Ashland... He came home with HUGE fly bites!!! He said it was really cold up there - below freezing at night!!! I am SO glad that I was not there!!! The time went by so fast when he was gone, but we were all glad to have him home safe and sound...

We all met there but then found that it was super crowded so we took our food to-go and came back here... It was a nice time... Ethan loves running around with the big boys...

Ashland 08/08

We are sad because Daddy left this morning for Ashland... He will be gone until Sunday night... The time will go fast I'm sure... There is NEVER a dull moment around here with the 2 boys... No rest for mommy, that is for sure... If Ethan is napping, Caleb is up... and vice versa... Caleb is still getting up at night too!!! He is a little piglet!!! He guzzles down 6 oz. and eats every 3 hours!!! I bought rice cereal and am gonna try to give that to him... Hopefully it will fill him up a little more...

Ethan got a new horse from Uncle Dan!!! It was on our doorstep the other day and Kait saw it and she went CRAZY!!! She was barking like mad and the hair on her back was standing up!!! It was hilarious!!! Ethan loves his new horse... It plays music and other horse noises too!!! Thanks Uncle Dan!!!
