Rainy Day Fun!!!

Today Great G-ma Sprotte, G-ma & G-pa Francis, Auntie Stacy and Uncle Sean came over for a visit and brought lunch over... I unfortunately was at work, like every Saturday and Sunday... But my 3 guys had fun!!!

Friday was a BEAUTIFUL day!!! In the 80's and sunny!!! We went to the park for a while with Ryan, Heidi, Jillian and Olivia... Can't wait for warm weather again!!!

Congratulations to our friends Shelly and Jason and big sister Thea, on the birth of their new baby girl, Stella Louise... She was born on Tuesday at 5:51am... 8 lbs. 7 oz. and 19 inches long... Mom and baby are doing great...

Birthday Bash...

Yesterday was Uncle Aaron's 38th birthday!!! Wow... I remember when he turned 30, I thought that was really old... now I am 31... so does that make me really old?!?!? LOL!!! It is all a state of mind I think... I definitely do not feel old... We went to Uncle Aaron's house for dinner last night and had a blast as usual... Especially Ethan... He absolutely LOVES his cousin NIKO... Ethan calls him "Nuker"... It is so funny!!! They chase each other around and of course Ethan loves all of Niko's toys...

Dog-less for a week!!!

SO TIRED!!!

So Kait has been up north with Grandpa Schutten for a week and came home today... She probably thought that she was gonna live up there... and she was probably just fine with that!!! She LOVES it up there... Steve said she spent most of the time outside - playing with the neighbor's dog, Dagger, and of course swimming in the river and then rolling around in the sand... When she comes home from up north she is dead tired and sleeps for a day or two... I am definitely calling our groomer tomorrow to get our stinky girl beautified...

Saturdays are Auntie Stacy and Ethan days... She always takes him out and about... Yesterday they went to visit Heidi at Illustria to get his hair cut and then the went shopping!!! Ethan loves to shop... I started him out young... One of his favorite words is "money!!!" Now I have to teach him "credit card..." LOL!!!

Friday we went to the zoo with G-ma and G-pa Raap and Lauren... it was such a nice day out!!! Scott finally had a day off from work and clinicals...YEA!!!

Today we had a lot of visitors... G-ma and G-pa Raap came over with Alexa and Lauren... Then Trissa and Hunter came over for dinner and to play... Fun was had by all!!!

Caleb is so vocal and always smiling!!! He is such a good boy, except for being constantly hungry... or so it seems - especially in the middle of the night... He loves looking at Ethan - it is so cute when Ethan talks to him he stares at Ethan and smiles!!! I hope they will grow up to be best buds... Ethan loves him so much too - at least once a day I find Ethan trying to pick Caleb up - SCARY!!! Ethan always wants to be by Caleb... It is so fun to be home with my boys during the week!!!

Yesterday I got off work at 11:00am!!! I was able to go to make the rounds to visit and eat with the families!!! I was so happy to be able to spend the day with our families... I hope everyone had a nice Easter too!!!

10 weeks old... sick big brother...

Caleb is 10 weeks old today!!! Happy Birthday to my little peanut!!! He was at the doctor yesterday for his 2 month check up and everything is great... He weighs 11 lbs. 12 oz. and is 24 inches long... He is 40th percentile for weight and 70th for length... he is a very long boy... I can't believe how time is flyin'!!! Ethan came down with a bug 2 nights ago... he has a horrible cough and sneezing and wakes up for the past 2 nights crying... my poor guy... this is why we are so paranoid about being around sick people... we don't like for our babies, or us, to catch anything... this is the first time he has ever been sick!!! I hate seeing him like this... during the day, he acts normal at least... he is still sleeping now and it is 10:30am!!! Hopefully he shakes it fast...

So I took Caleb for some newborn pictures last week and they turned out really good... I was hoping not to spend a lot of money, but that never happens... these are pictures of a few of the pictures... kinda blurry and dark because i had to keep the flash and lights off or there was a huge glare on them...

So my first day back to work wasn't so bad after all... I teared up a bit right before I left the house after kissing Caleb goodbye... then I pulled it together and was fine the rest of the day... So overall, it was a good day... It helped that I had real good patients too... Tomorrow is another day...

So Sad...

So today I go back to work... I actually start in 55 minutes!!! I have mixed feelings about it... I only took 9 weeks off and wish I had a few more, but I am also ready to see my friends again and to talk to adults... I just hope I do not talk in "baby talk" to them!!! LOL!!! I am sad to be leaving my boys though... I know they are in good hands, but I also know how hard it was for me at first to adjust to having the two of them all day long, by myself... So wish me luck that I do not ball my eyes out on my way to work today!!! And wish Scott luck too!!!
