1 month old!!!

I can't believe that Caleb is 1 month old today!!! Time has gone by so fast!!! Ethan LOVES the baby swing... I am scared to have Caleb in it while Ethan is around because he loves to push it and play with all of the buttons... He even climbs into it and sits in it!!! One of these days it is going to break!!! So Caleb enjoys his swing when Ethan is sleeping... Last night Caleb slept in it for 5 hours!!!

The Piano Man...

Last night the boys and I went to Gma & Gpa Raap's house for dinner and a visit... Great Gma also was there... Ethan enjoyed playing the piano with Gpa... Could he be the next Mozart???

Farewell Uncle Matt...

Last night we had a farewell dinner at Gma & Gpa Schutten's house for Matt who left this morning for Texas... From there he is being deployed to Iraq for a year of service. He is in the Army National Guard... We wish him the best and hope for a safe return home...

Caleb is so alert when he is awake... He was in his chair on the table last night while I folded clothes and he was watching my every move... He also loves to look up at the lights...

Fun in the Snow...

Scott and Ethan went outside today for a while to play in the newly fallen snow... Ethan go to use his new sled for the first time... Yea!!! He had so much fun!!!

Another Week Down...

Well, another week has come and gone and we have survived!!! It seems to be getting a little easier to manage 2 kids during the week by myself... I have only taken the both of them alone one place - to my mom and dad's house for dinner... No trips to the store yet... Our pediatrician told us to try to keep Caleb at home at LEAST for the 1st month with it being cold and flu season... She said that if he came down with a fever, that he would have to be admitted to Children's Hospital and have a spinal tap and other invasive procedures done... So that scared the pants off of me... So I am taking her advice... He does have a congested nose/sneezing now - poor little guy - I feel so bad for him!!! He isn't acting sick though - thank goodness!!! He actually slept in his own bed last night for 3 hours, ate, and slept in there for 2 more hours, ate, and then I layed with him on the couch (I love to snuggle with him)... So I actually got some good sleep!!!

Horrible Day...

So yesterday turned out to be quite the day... That night Caleb was up A LOT!!! So I was running on very little sleep to begin with, the day seemed to just get worse... I decided to give Caleb his first bath in the big boy tub and while taking a few pictures of him, I managed to drop my brand new camera into the water!!! Needless to say, the camera is done for. I did manage to get a few pictures before I dropped it and the memory card is ok - thank goodness!!! Then I came to find that my cell phone was on the fritz and was no longer working... I did get a new phone last night but they were unable to transfer all of my phone numbers to my new phone!!! AHHH!!! That stinks because I do not have many of them memorized!!! Oh well... Things could be worse, right?!?!?! Today is a new day...

Aunt Mary & Lauren Visit!!!

Saturday night Aunt Mary and Lauren visited and brought Ethan something very special... They brought him a chair that used to be his daddy's when he was little!!! Ethan LOVES it!!! Of course he just doesn't sit in it, he also stands on it and carries it around the house...
